Breaking down GUT HEALTH.

Gut Health is simple and complicated all at the same time. It really depends on how much damage has been done and how long you have been struggling. In all cases, there is a systematic approach that will vary slightly from case to case. Here are some guidelines:

Repair

Repair inflammatory bowel issues e.g. ulcers, diverticulitis, Crohns or more severe gut issues require a slower approach. First it is important to bring inflammation before actively eliminating unwanted pathogens and restoring microflora. This can be done by removing inflammatory foods and following a more plant based diet (see attached Gut health recipe e-book) or for quicker results, targeted supplementation.

Maximized Turmeric is a potentized Turmeric (not comparable to the spice on your shelf) that is anti-inflammatory and wound healing. It simultaneously brings down inflammation, promotes healing and gently starts to rebalance the gut.

Digestive Vibrance can be used along with Maximized Turmeric. It is formulated to bring down inflammation and heal the gut lining with – 100 billion probiotics in 8 strains, organics aids, amino acids, and anti-inflammatory botanicals that work synergistically to repair the gut lining.

Remove.

Remove or rebalance unwanted pathogens (bacteria, fungi, parasites, viruses). This is what Bacterial Defense has been formulated to do with 8 botanicals that work synergistically to break down biofilms and eliminate unwanted pathogens. Maximized Turmeric can also play a part in this.

Restore.

Restore – or rebuild microflora with prebiotics and beneficial bacteria through prebiotic foods and probiotic supplementation. Digestive Vibrance is our go to but Green Vibrance or Trilogy might be more than enough if you don’t have gut issues. Green Vibrance and Trilogy have the added benefit of containing nourishment that helps to fuel the cells and energise the body.

Rebalance.

REBALANCE – make the necessary lifestyle changes that support a healthy gut, cut out processed foods, eat more plants, reduce stress levels, exercise and get enough sleep.

It’s important to remember.

  • There isn’t a “one size fits all” solution. One person might do really well starting on the “removing” phase whereas this might be the completely wrong thing for someone else, who needs to repair their gut lining first.
  • Healing is not linear and can take time, sometimes you feel worse before you feel better, be patient with yourself.
  • When you have an overgrowth of pathogens the longer you’ve had it and the worse it is the longer the protocol. Unfortunately, healing doesn’t happen overnight; it takes consistency and patience.
  • If you experience pain, discomfort, gas, or bloating we are happy to help so please contact us if you have any questions.

Please note that all the supplements mentioned above can be used as maintenance, in which case you would just follow the recommended dosage amount of the tub. Treatment requires higher doses, so please contact us if you need a more targeted plan.
