Do you believe that there are good and bad emotions? Have you been conditioned to suppress or change what is perceived as a “bad emotion”?
???? There is no such thing as a good or bad emotion. And when you start to tap into your body and become accurately aware of its signals, you can start to use your emotions as information.
???? What triggers set certain emotions off? Are you aware of any physical manifestations of the emotion in your body?
???? The chemical responses to emotions last in the body for 90 seconds. So if we can learn to cultivate awareness, watch these emotions arise, feel them in our body and watch them pass, we can become active agents in the responses we wish to give to these emotions arising.
????All of these tools empower us, they make us the primary choice-maker in our own lives and give us the freedom to respond to our environment with more awareness.
